{"id":1444,"date":"2025-06-19T10:08:44","date_gmt":"2025-06-19T10:08:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gloucestershire.camra.org.uk\/WP25\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=1444"},"modified":"2025-06-19T10:09:12","modified_gmt":"2025-06-19T10:09:12","slug":"gloucestershire-camra-agm","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/www.gloucestershire.camra.org.uk\/WP25\/event\/gloucestershire-camra-agm\/","title":{"rendered":"Gloucestershire CAMRA AGM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Notification of<strong> CAMRA \u00a0in Gloucestershire\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Annual General Meeting<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Branch\u00a0<span class=\"il\">AGM<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0is being held on <strong>Saturday 26th July<\/strong> at <a href=\"https:\/\/camra.org.uk\/pubs\/fountain-inn-gloucester-172015\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>The Fountain Inn<\/strong><\/a>, 53 Westgate Street, Gloucester GL1 2NW starting at <strong>12 noon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Members of CAMRA \u00a0in the Gloucestershire branch are warmly invited to attend and vote in the <span class=\"il\">AGM<\/span>. The\u00a0<span class=\"il\">AGM<\/span>&#8216;s formal business\u00a0is where we hear reports from Branch Officers, receive, approve the Branch Accounts and appoint members to the Branch committee.<\/p>\n<p>There are a range of Branch Committee positions to be filled, including: Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Pubs Officer and for four ordinary committee members.<\/p>\n<p>All committee roles contribute to the success of the Branch and any branch member can put themselves forward for election. There are a range of core and other roles, to suit people&#8217;s experience, interests and availability. Training and assistance is provided\u00a0by other volunteers and CAMRA staff.<\/p>\n<p>The Gloucestershire CAMRA Area and County Coordinator would be happy to discuss these opportunities with anyone who is interested.
